Richard S. Gilbert Chairman and Chief Executive Officer As President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rick Gilbert is responsible for the strategic direction and management of Westell Technologies. He is also a member of Westell’s Board of Directors. Mr. Gilbert brings to Westell more than 30 years of global experience in leadership positions in the telecommunications equipment industry. He was most recently President and Chief Executive Officer of Kineto Wireless overseeing its rapid growth as the key innovator and leading supplier of mobile/Wi-Fi convergence solutions. Prior to Kineto Wireless, Mr. Gilbert served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Copper Mountain Networks, a provider of broadband access products to ILECs, CLECs, IOCs, IXCs, PTTs and other facilities-based network providers worldwide. Under Mr. Gilbert’s leadership, Copper Mountain Networks achieved nearly $500 million in aggregate sales and was one of the most successful initial public offerings of 1999. Prior to Copper Mountain Networks, Mr. Gilbert was the President of ADC Kentrox, on of the fastest growing and most profitable divisions of ADC Telecommunications. Additionally, Mr. Gilbert has held numerous senior management positions with companies that include Make Systems, VitaLink Communications Corporation, and IBM Corporation. Mr. Gilbert received his MS degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a BS degree in Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley. Brian Cooper Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Brian S. Cooper has served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Westell since April, 2009. In May 2009 Mr. Cooper was appointed as Treasurer and Secretary of the Company. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Cooper served since 2007 as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Fellowes, Inc., a global manufacturer and marketer of office products and solutions. From 2001 to 2007, Mr. Cooper was the Senior Vice President and Treasurer of United Stationers, Inc. (NASDAQ: USTR), a national wholesale distributor of business products.
Amy Forster Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer Amy Forster was named Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Westell in April 2009. As CAO, she is responsible for internal and external financial reporting, accounting compliance, treasury, planning and tax, Ms. Forster served as Chief Financial Officer from July 2007 to April 2009. Ms. Forster initially joined Westell in 1994 as Controller and also served as the Executive Director of Finance. During her tenure at Westell, she has been involved in the initial and secondary public offerings, the issuance of convertible debt, acquisitions, and the implementation of an enterprise resource planning solution. After receiving her CPA, her career began at Arthur Andersen LLP, and she has a degree in Accounting from Marquette University. Brian Powers Vice President, General Manager OSPlant Systems Division As Westell's Vice President and General Manager of OSPlant Systems, Brian Powers is responsible for managing and leading Westell's Outside Plant Systems (OSPlant Systems) Business Unit, formally Network Service Access (NSA). The OSPlant Systems Business Unit is focused on growth opportunities with a focus on Next Generation outdoor Cabinets and Enclosures, Power Distribution, Remote Monitoring solutions and Demarcation/Service hand-off panels for Ethernet, fiber and COAX interfaces. These OSPlant Systems solutions are ideally suited for wireless backhaul, and business enterprise services. Markets served include wireline carriers, wireless carriers, MSO's and Utility markets worldwide. Additionally Brian creates growth opportunities through mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alliances with partner companies. In this role, Brian has been responsible for the successful acquisitions of HyperEdge Corporation and Noran Tel, Inc. These strategic additions have contributed to market expansion and revenue growth for Westell's OSPlant Systems business unit. Brian joined Westell in 1990 as Marketing Director, successfully developing a new marketing team whose accomplishments included winning six major product selection studies and launching a new corporate identity for the company. Since then he has held various leadership roles, including Vice President and General Manager of Sales. He is very active in the DSL Forum where he most recently chaired the DSL Home Marketing Working Group. Prior to joining Westell, Brian was CPE Business Unit Director for Rockwell International Corporation. He has also held several other technical consulting and sales positions for firms in the telecommunications industry. Brian studied marketing and business management at DePaul University and North Central College, and he holds numerous certifications in leader training, presentation management, and technical marketing. Chris Shaver Vice President, General Manager of CNS Division Chris Shaver was appointed to the position of Senior Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer of Westell in April 2007. He has full responsibility for Westell's technology direction and oversees all engineering functions. Mr. Shaver joined Westell in January of 2005 as Vice President of Engineering, overseeing the development of several of Westell's new product lines. In that role he also managed Westell system architecture, systems engineering, systems test, and other functional engineering teams. Prior to Westell, Mr. Shaver was Vice President of Engineering at Copper Mountain Networks, and helped Copper Mountain migrate from IP DSLAMs to IP service delivery platforms for video, voice and data. Before Copper Mountain he was co-founder and Vice President of Engineering at Oresis Communications, and in the 1990s, Mr. Shaver had various engineering roles at ADC Kentrox. He has been developing leading-edge packet networking products for nearly 20 years and holds a patent for a packet framing technique. Mr. Shaver received his engineering degree from Cornell University, and he completed an executive education program at the Harvard Business School. Mark Skurla Vice President of Sales and Customer Service As Vice President of Sales and Customer Service, Mark Skurla oversees all aspects of Westell's product sales, as well as system engineering, technical support, distribution and inside sales organizations. Mark brings over 20 years of sales and sales management experience in carrier and channel sales to his role at Westell. He joined Westell from Fluke Networks, where he served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Prior to Fluke Networks, Mark was the Vice President of Sales at Copper Mountain Networks, and he spent 15 years at ADC Telecommunications in sales management positions of increasing responsibility. At Copper Mountain and ADC, Mark gained extensive experience managing sales of service delivery and network access technologies. Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Delaware. Mark Skowronski Vice President of Supply Chain Operations and Quality Mark Skowronski is Vice President of Supply Chain Operations and Quality at Westell. Mark's responsibilities as Vice President include procurement, planning, logistics, test engineering, and quality functions. Mark has been at Westell for 14 years and has held a variety of operation and material management positions. As Vice President at Westell, Mark has led the successful outsourcing of Westell operations.
Mark has over 24 years of progressive management experience. He received his B.S. in operations management and has a M.B.A. both from Northern Illinois University. Tim Reedy President and CEO, ConferencePlus
Tim is responsible for ConferencePlus' strategic direction and for the execution of its business plan. Having joined the organization in October of 2002, Mr. Reedy brought with him an extensive background in managing high technology, high-growth businesses. Tim joins ConferencePlus from MCI Conferencing, where he served as Vice President of Marketing, Finance and Information Technology. Mr. Reedy was instrumental in helping MCI Conferencing grow from under $100M in 1995 to over $500M in 2001. During this period, MCI Conferencing emerged as the largest conferencing company in the world and was the most profitable division within MCI. Before joining MCI, Tim had a distinguished career with tenures at Darome Teleconferencing and Ameritech Mobile Communications. Tim received an Accounting Degree from Bradley University in 1983. Upon graduation, Mr. Reedy was employed as an auditor for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell (KPMG). Tim passed the Illinois CPA examination in May, 1988 and attended the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management and received a Master's Degree in Management (1992) with a major in Marketing and Management.

James M. Froisland Sr VP, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary for Material Sciences Corporation Mr. Froisland served as the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Information Officer and Corporate Secretary for Material Sciences Corporation (NYSE: MSC) from June 2006 to March 2010. Prior to this role, Froisland served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer for InteliStaf Healthcare, Inc., a private provider of healthcare staffing services from 2002. He previously held executive and senior financial, accounting and information technology positions with a number of companies, including USA Broadband, Burns International Services Corporation, Anixter International Inc., Allsteel, Inc., Budget Rent A Car Corporation and The Pillsbury Company. Mr. Froisland started his career with the public accounting firm, KPMG LLP and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Froisland has a Master of Business Administration degree in management information systems from the University of Minnesota and Bachelors of Arts degrees in math and accounting from Luther College. Marty Hernandez Chief Financial Officer of Kineto Wireless, Inc. Mr. Hernandez is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Kineto Wireless, Inc. (“Kineto”), an innovator and leading supplier of solutions that enable the delivery of mobile services over broadband. He has served in this position since July 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Hernandez served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Rainmaker Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: RMKR), a leading provider of sales and marketing solutions, from September 2000 to March 2005 and as Rainmaker’s Chief Financial Officer beginning in October 1999. Prior to Rainmaker, he held senior financial and operations roles with Silicon Graphics and Meris Laboratories. Mr. Hernandez is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing, as well as an MBA from San Jose State University. Eileen A. Kamerick SVP and CFO TectaAmerica Corporation Eileen A. Kamerick has been a director of Westell since December 2003. Ms. Kamerick is currently Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Houlihan Lokey, an international investment bank and advisory firm, a position she has served since June 2010. Prior to that, Ms. Kamerick has served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Legal Officer of Tecta America Corporation, the largest commercial roofing company in the United States, with particular expertise in solar installations and greenroofs, since August 2008. Prior to joining Tecta America Corporation, she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officers of BearingPoint, Inc., a management and technology consulting firm from May 2008 to June 2008. Prior to joining BearingPoint, Inc., she served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Heidrick and Struggles International, Inc., an international executive search and leadership consulting firm, from June 2004 to May 2008. She serves on the boards of Associated Bancorp (NASDAQ: ASBC) and Global Compliance Services, as well as of the Boys and Girls Club of Chicago, Cove School, and Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. Robert Penny III Managing Director, PF Management Robert C. Penny III has served as a Director of the Company since September 1998. He has been the managing partner of P.F. Management Co., a private investment company, since May 1980. Robert W. Foskett Managing Partner and Investment Committee Member of Table Mountain Capital LLC Robert W. Foskett is the Managing Partner and Investment Committee Member of Table Mountain Capital LLC, a private investment company, a position he has served since 2006. Prior to joining Table Mountain Capital LLC, he served from 2002 to 2006 as a Research Director at L.H. Investments, a private investment company. Martin (Marty) H. Singer Ph.D. Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of PCTEL, Inc. Mr. Singer is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of PCTEL, Inc. (NASDAQ: PCTI), a position he has served since October 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Singer served as PCTEL’s non-executive Chairman of the Board from February 2001 until October 2001, and he has been a PCTEL director since August 1999. From December 1997 to August 2000, Mr. Singer served as President and Chief Executive Officer of SAFCO Technologies, a wireless communications company. He left SAFCO in August 2000, after its sale to Agilent Technologies. From September 1994 to December 1997, Mr. Singer served as Vice President and General Manager of the wireless access business development division for Motorola, a communications equipment company. Prior to this period, Mr. Singer held senior management and technical positions at Motorola, Tellabs, AT&T and Bell Labs. Mr. Singer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, and a Masters of Arts degree and a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Singer currently is a member of the FIRST Illinois Executive Board and served as Chairman of the Midwest council of the American Electronics Association (AeA) from 2003 to 2008. He also severed on the standing advisory group for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) for two years. Mr. Singer has seven patents in telecommunications and has written numerous articles on network evolution, immigration and labor policy, and other issues related to technology development. Dennis O. Harris Mr. Harris completed a nearly 38-year telecommunications career in 2002 as the President of Network Services at SBC Midwest, now a part of AT&T, which provides voice, video, data and broadband delivery services. Mr. Harris possesses a great depth of knowledge of the telecommunications industry and its participants, as well as extensive experience in the areas of operations, sales, customer service, and human resources. He remains active in the industry and continues in advisory roles to a number of companies. Mr. Harris holds a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University - Commerce and has completed executive programs at Babson College and at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He currently serves on the boards of London Medical Management, The R.J. Carroll Company and Advanced Receiver Technologies. Mr. Harris has been active in community service and has served on the board of the North Texas Minority Business Development Council and the American Red Cross of Dallas. |
