ConferencePlus™ Announces New Affinity Program

SCHAUMBURG, IL, OCTOBER 11, 2005 – Conference Plus, Inc. (ConferencePlus), a leading global provider of audio, web, and videoconferencing services dedicated to the workplace of the future, announces today that it has enhanced its “Affinity Program” designed to permit nonprofit organizations of all types and sizes to offer their members a high quality conferencing service at competitive prices while providing the organization with a new and continuing revenue source. ConferencePlus is a subsidiary of Westell Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: WSTL) and has been a leading wholesale and retail provider of audio, web and videoconferencing services since 1988.

The ConferencePlus Affinity Program is ideally suited to address the needs of associations, chambers of commerce and other non-profit organizations. ConferencePlus will provide an organization’s members with a complete portfolio of high quality audio, web and videoconferencing services at savings only available to larger, high volume users. The nonprofit organizations will then benefit through a monthly royalty based on the aggregate participation of its members.

“We are confident that our Affinity Program members will find ConferencePlus services to be easy-to-use and reliable and the program savings to be substantial,” Reed Ellis, Director of Sales – Alternate Channels at ConferencePlus said. “And the nonprofit organizations benefit from tangible royalty payments that make their participation extremely worth while,” he added.

Affinity Program members can choose from a variety of audio conferencing services and options designed to help maximize every meeting opportunity – anywhere, at anytime. Because a single audio service is not right for every organization or every meeting, ConferencePlus provides four different audio conferencing services that may all be combined with web conferencing to add the power of visual elements to their meetings. Affinity Program members will also have access to a suite of on-line tools that allow for easy account and conference management.

To support Affinity Program member organizations, ConferencePlus offers significant sales and marketing support and industry leading reporting and billing capabilities. “We are pleased to be a partner in the ConferencePlus Affinity Program. Without their sales and marketing support, we couldn’t drive adoption within our member base,” Rick Kean, Executive Director, Business Marketing Association, said. “We are also impressed with ConferencePlus’ timely and accurate reporting and billing, which allows us to easily track usage and revenue at multiple levels to ensure our members and the Association receive the full benefits of the Program,” he added.

“The ConferencePlus Affinity Program is focused on providing members with the ultimate combination of industry-leading technology coupled with operational excellence and a financial benefit that reflects the magnitude of their organization,” Ellis said. “It’s a real win-win situation,” he added.
