ConferencePlus Announces Northeast Region Expansion/New Sales Director

SCHAUMBURG, IL, APRIL 7, 2004 – ConferencePlus, Inc., a leading global provider of audio, web, video and IP conferencing services dedicated to the workplace of the future, announced today another significant expansion of its sales organization with the formation of a new northeast region and the appointment of Joseph Gaudin as its new Regional, Director of Sales. Earlier this year ConferencePlus announced the formation of a southeastern region.

The newest ConferencePlus sales region will be based in Boston, Massachusetts with sales team members located in key cities throughout the northeast region. The ConferencePlus regional expansion includes the immediate selection of a fully dedicated sales team to serve 14 states. Sales representatives will offer ConferencePlus conferencing products and services, video, audio and web to a broad range of companies and organizations.

In his new ConferencePlus regional sales position, Gaudin brings over a decade of sales and sales management experience within the telecommunications market. Most recently he was Regional Sales Manager for Cogent Communications with responsibility for managing and developing a regional sales territory covering New England and eastern Canada to Toronto. He also served as Vice President of Sales for RexSpeed, Inc., where he created and implemented sales and marketing strategies for the company’s wireless Internet services.

Gaudin served as Senior Corporate Account Manager for Verizon Communications with responsibility for managing and developing a sales territory from Virginia to Maine. He also held sales and account management positions with Verizon.

“Gaudin brings a ConferencePlus an excellent understanding of conferencing solutions to our expanding sales organization and he has a proven track record of experience in supporting customer needs,” Ratkiewicz said. “His sales experience, energy and commitment are welcomed to the ConferencePlus sales organization,” he added.

Gaudin holds a B.A. in Economics from Syracuse University. He resides in Boston, Massachusetts.
