Westell Technologies is looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a sales environment with a broad range of solution offerings, to develop this new role with the Company.  The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with distribution partners and integrators, educating and generating interest on Westell offerings, qualifying prospects/opportunities and closing sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Team with distribution partners and integrators to source new sales opportunities (build pipeline) through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
  • Qualify opportunities, including understanding customer needs and requirements, timing, and budget
  • Engaging the appropriate sales team member and/or associated support personnel for assistance in further developing opportunity and moving it to closure
  • Close sales and achieve assigned quotas
  • Develop and execute Touch Plan across distribution partners and integrators to educate them and generate interest for Westell offering, including New Product Introductions.  

Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
