SUMMARY: Perform duties to move, store and stage raw materials, parts and supplies and account for material movement throughout the process via transactions processing. Work from transfer orders, set-up sheets, travelers, Bill of Materials, cycle count list, written and verbal instructions. Display proficiency of duties and responsibilities in a continuous manner. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cycle counts via RF gun and/or SAP.
  • Ensure materials are pulled and staged per production schedule.
  • Verify pulled materials are delivered to the designated areas.
  • Return unused materials and supplies to stick after the schedule work orders are complete when applicable.
  • Monitor bulk material levels and order when needed.
  • Know and use all SAP inquiry commands relevant to your designated area.
  • Access, read and monitor relevant reports.
  • Perform all inventory transactions via RF gun or computer.
  • Follow safety rules and keep work area clean and orderly.
  • Keep undated on relevant procedures.
  • May use any of the following equipment: parts scale, calculator, computer terminal, hand tools, pallet jack, shrink wrapper, waste compactor, tape gun, copier, forklifts and order pickers.
  • Reconcile inventory and resolve inventory discrepancies, identify preliminary root cause analysis.
  • Regularly contribute process improvement suggestions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-2 years material handling experience and knowledge of inventory control practices/procedures.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP transactions. 
  • Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
